Company Overview

Who We Are

Bakersfield Pallet Co. is a full-service pallet company based at 3240 Patton Way, Bakersfield, CA 93308. We specialize in the buying, selling, recycling, repair, and delivery of wood, plastic, and composite pallets for businesses across Central California.

Founded in 2015 by Garrett Caldwell, the company was built on a straightforward principle: the pallet industry generates an enormous amount of preventable waste, and a business committed to sustainability can thrive while doing the right thing. That principle has guided every decision we have made over the past decade.

Today, we process over 50,000 pallets annually from our modern facility, equipped with repair stations, an ISPM-15 certified heat treatment kiln, a comprehensive sorting and grading operation, and a dedicated delivery fleet. Our 95% landfill diversion rate means that nearly every pallet that enters our yard is given a second, third, or fourth productive life before any material goes to waste.

We serve more than 500 active business clients, ranging from small local farms and workshops to large regional distributors and national manufacturers. Our customer retention rate of over 90% reflects the quality, consistency, and value that businesses have come to expect from working with us.

Our Purpose

Mission Statement

“To extend the productive life of every pallet we touch, building a business where environmental responsibility and customer value are one and the same.”

Our mission is not just a statement on a wall — it is the operational standard against which we measure every decision. From the way we inspect incoming pallets to the routes our delivery trucks drive, sustainability and customer service are woven into every aspect of what we do.

We believe the pallet industry has a responsibility to be part of the solution to the waste crisis, not a contributor to it. The United States generates an estimated 26 million tons of pallet-related wood waste annually. By repairing, recycling, and extending pallet lifecycles, companies like ours can make a meaningful dent in that number while providing businesses with a more affordable, more responsible alternative to buying new.

Our Core Values

  • Environmental Stewardship

Every decision we make considers its environmental impact. We track our carbon footprint, measure waste diversion rates, and continuously improve our processes to minimize our ecological footprint.

  • Customer Partnership

We treat every client as a long-term partner, not a one-time transaction. We invest time in understanding your business, your pallet specifications, and your delivery schedule so we can serve you better with each order.

  • Quality Without Compromise

Our 12-point inspection process ensures every pallet meets or exceeds expectations. We never cut corners on quality, because a failed pallet costs our customers far more than the difference between a good pallet and a great one.

  • Community Investment

We are proud Bakersfield natives and active contributors to the local economy. We hire locally, support community organizations, and believe in strengthening the place we call home.

  • Transparency & Honesty

Our grading system, pricing, and business practices are built on transparency. We tell you exactly what you are getting, what it costs, and what to expect. No hidden fees, no bait-and-switch, no surprises.

  • Continuous Improvement

We are never satisfied with the status quo. Every quarter, we review our operations, gather customer feedback, and identify ways to do better — whether that means faster turnaround, broader inventory, or cleaner processes.
