From farm fields to factory floors, our pallets support every link of the Central Valley supply chain.

Tell us your industry and we will recommend the right pallet program.
The Backbone of Every Supply Chain
Pallets are the unsung heroes of modern commerce. Nearly every physical product you buy, eat, wear, or use has spent time on a pallet at some point in its journey from manufacturer to consumer. In the United States alone, more than two billion pallets are in circulation at any given time, supporting an economy that moves goods worth trillions of dollars each year.
At Bakersfield Pallet Co., founded by Garrett Caldwell with a commitment to serving Kern County and the broader Central Valley, we understand that different industries have fundamentally different pallet needs. A fresh produce shipper has very different requirements than an automotive parts distributor. A cold storage warehouse operates under different constraints than a retail display floor.
That is why we do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. Our Operations Manager, Oakley Thorne, works closely with each client to understand their specific handling environment, product characteristics, regulatory requirements, and supply chain dynamics. Our Sustainability Director, Wren Castellano, ensures every recommendation also considers environmental impact, helping clients reduce waste and maximize pallet life cycles.
Whether you need 50 pallets once or 10,000 pallets every month, whether your operation is a family farm or a multinational distribution center, we have the inventory, expertise, and logistics to keep your supply chain moving. Below is a detailed look at the core industries we serve, along with industry-specific data, challenges, and solutions.

Sustainability Across Every Industry
Under the leadership of Wren Castellano, our Sustainability Director, Bakersfield Pallet Co. has made environmental responsibility a cornerstone of how we serve every industry. Regardless of sector, every client benefits from our commitment to reducing waste, extending pallet lifecycles, and sourcing materials responsibly.
The wooden pallet industry is already one of the most sustainable segments of the supply chain. Wood is a renewable resource, pallets are repaired and reused many times, and at end of life the material can be recycled into mulch, animal bedding, or biomass fuel. At Bakersfield Pallet Co., we take this inherent sustainability further.
Our recycling program recovers over 95% of the wood that enters our facility. Pallets that cannot be repaired are dismantled, and usable lumber is salvaged for new construction. Boards that cannot be reused are chipped for landscaping mulch. Less than 5% of material ends up as waste — and we are working to reduce even that.
